As he stated, there is too much stress of living in Hong Kong; artistic creation could bring balance to life.
"Baggage" shows the spirits behind HongKongese, that is flexibility, efficiency and adaptability; yet on the other side, it is pressure, tension and empty spiritual life.
The work is significant as representing, and though it seems to be mechonly from the faceless expressions of the model, there is also a hope behind.
The baggage symbolize the burden of the metropolitans and also it is also the only thing coloured in the art work, thus, it is shown what the artist wanted to highlight. I believe the message behind is like, even though we live in such a stress city with burdens that we cannot take off, we'd have hope and life is always good.
